CLINICAL REFLEXOLOGY

Helen Garbett at WhiteOak Healing Pathways has been a Clinical Reflexologist (attaining a Level 5 Mastership in Reflexology) for over a decade, she welcomes clients old and new, all ages for regular treatments. Reflexology is a non-invasive therapy focusing on the hands or feet that works alongside conventional medical care.

It helps to re-balance your body to achieve healing and well being in a relaxing, rejuvenating and therapeutic way.

It works on the principle that different areas of the feet, hands and face correspond to all the different areas of the body, including the internal organs and glands. It aims to bring balance to the whole body and mind.

Each session is based on the individual needs of the client. Everyone is different and our bodies may respond more quickly to some treatments rather than others.  You may feel an improvement after one treatment, however it may be advisable to follow a course of treatments followed up with monthly maintenance visits.  This all depends on an individual’s health and requirements.

REFLEXOLOGY SPECIALITIES

GENERAL
REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology is a deeply calming and restorative therapy that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing.

By encouraging relaxation and helping to lower stress levels, it allows the body and mind to settle, creating a greater sense of ease, balance and overall health.

I am especially passionate about offering reflexology as a gentle space for grief and loss.

Whether your experience is recent or long held, sessions can provide a quiet, supportive environment where you are free to soften, release and simply be, without needing to explain or hold everything together.

Reflexology can also help ease aches, pains and muscular tension, while supporting circulation and restoring energy. Many clients leave feeling lighter, more focused and deeply nurtured grounded in their body and better able to meet the demands of everyday life.

LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

Reflexology lymph drainage (RLD) can help to stimulate the lymphatic system to make it work more efficiently, so you’ll feel energised.

It is a (multi award winning) technique created by Sally Kay, originally developed to help reduce lymphedema swelling following breast cancer treatment however it has also been known to help alleviate symptoms of autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.

Many clients find RLD to also be helpful for:

*Rheumatoid Arthritis

*Pregnancy related oedema

*Eczema

*Chronic fatigue / long covid /ME

*Post surgery recovery

*Allergies - hayfever

*Sinus Issues

*Fibromyalgia

*PMS

*Migraines and Headaches

WOMEN'S WELLBEING & MENOPAUSE

I support women’s wellbeing through all stages of life using reflexology from menstrual health and fertility, through pregnancy and into peri-menopause and menopause.

As a mum of five and now peri-menopausal myself, I have a deep personal understanding of the changes women experience during this time.

Menopause is an inevitable transition, but it doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or endured alone. Reflexology can be a gentle yet powerful way to support the body, calm the nervous system and restore a sense of balance as you move through this phase of life.

My treatment room is a  nurturing space where you can step away from external pressures, slow everything down, and focus fully on you.

Many women describe leaving sessions feeling more grounded, calmer and better able to meet life with clarity and ease.
